When visiting this area where do you usually go?
“On my free time i like to go work out at the gym there. I also tend to go to the Dollar Tree, Autozone, and Ross. I go to Burger King and McDonalds sometimes as well.” -Tini
“I just come to work and sometimes i’ll go to Ross and the Dollar Tree” -Baylee
“I usually go to Ross or TJ Maxx and McDonalds when im around that area” -Carlos
Do you feel like this area is diverse?
“This area is really good with a lot of people who are wealthy and poor. There is a pretty good mix, we have people come in to buy out most expensive wines and then we have some come in with coupons or their EBT cards” -Baylee
“I feel like a lot of upper class maybe the ones who go to Raley’s specifically when visiting this area. Others who rather not spend so much would choose the more affordable option which is the Dollar Tree” -Carlos
Do you consider this area to be busy?
“Yes there is a lot of traffic around this area, and it would have to be due to the Butte college students. The highway exit is also very close to the area and you can also get to Paradise, another town near Chico” -Tini
“Yes fairly busy, people are usually coming in and out of Paradise since its so close. There is also Butte college so students are also coming in and out of the area” -Carlos

“Oh yes, very busy area. It gets crazy! The turning signal to get here will get backed all the way to where you first turn on. I’ve almost been late to work a few times, and I leave 20 min. before the time it takes me to get here” -Baylee
Would you say Raley’s is a busy store?
“Yes a lot of customers come for the wine. I wouldn’t say we’re the busiest grocery store. We have our loyal customers” -Baylee
“Raley’s isn’t so busy, or at least it isn’t when I go into the store” -Carlos
Would you say the Dollar Tree is slightly busier than Raleys?
“A lot of college students live in this area and i’m sure they don’t want to spend a lot of money on their groceries. they simply can’t afford it with all the expenses they have already. I don’t even come here, I go to Winco” -Baylee
“I honestly prefer the Dollar Tree so I can grab something small and quick like milk maybe. I know there are other options of grocery stores around town that are much less expensive than Raley’s so I’d rather go to those instead” -Carlos
Do you attend Chico State?
“Yes I do!” -Tini
“I actually don’t but i did move down here to hopefully attend next year. I planned on settling down getting a job and a home before starting school” -Baylee
